4 New Year Resolutions We’ll Be Breaking

It’s the time of year when we make promises to ourselves out loud (over cocktails) to whoever will listen. Or perhaps we’re writing them down in our diaries, earnestly, over hot steaming mugs of tea. However you’re making them, and whatever you’re deciding, one thing we ALL know, is how much of a struggle it can be to stay on track. #NoShame

This year, instead of feeling guilty for falling short, we’re choosing to cut ourselves some slack. Here are the 4 resolutions we’re breaking this year!

#1 Exercise more

Join the gym? Not this year! Nope, we’re not going to download, subscribe to and forget a workout app either.

We’re going on more wellness retreats instead! After all, exhausting energy working out is just detrimental if you’re not focusing on wellness and balance as well.

#2 Eat healthier

Pizza is healthy right? We’re all for moderation and reducing our meat consumption but… we’re not sure we can give up wine or cheese just yet.

Sure, Greta Thunberg and the environment lingers at the back of our mind, but isn’t it healthier (for ourselves) to indulge in treats once in awhile?

#3 Pick up a new language

We’re not firing up Duolingo. If we’re going to learn how to say sweet nothings in another language, we’re hanging with the locals instead!

Who knows, that might take you a lot further than you think. 😉

#4 Spend less

Villa Nonnavana, Bali

Let’s be very honest here, minimalism is very much in vogue but it isn’t necessarily the “cheaper” option is it? We down to buy less things, but we’re all about style.

When we’ve got our eye on something, you can bet it’s bespoke, topnotch and luxe!

And the one we’re keeping!

Enough with procrastinations, enough with the what-ifs and maybes; we promise to Dream A Little, Travel A Lot. There’s no time like the present.
