New Year’s Eve in Bali: Where to Ring in 2020

Is it just me or has 2019 gone by in a whirlwind of colour and the sound of furious typing? And now, New Year’s Eve and the biggest, hottest parties of the year are just around the corner! We all know that Bali has some of the best nightlife around, so to get you ready to ring in 2020 with a big ol’ bang, we’ve rounded up Bali’s best New Year’s Eve parties ensuring you celebrate in style.

So you know, this list is ever-growing. We’ll keep updating it as more NYE festivities are announced!

Finns Beach Club

What: Giving NYE nothing less than you’d expect, Finns is hosting a major party – expected to be one of Bali’s biggest ever (last year 12,000 people celebrated at Finns!). Electronic musical acts are coming from all over the world to perform. Headliners include Camelphat, Duke Dumont and Lost Frequencies.

Who: Those over 18 and love to party like there’s no tomorrow.

Where: Finns Beach Club – Jl Pantai Berawa, Canggu

When: 31st December – 1st January 2020, 3 pm – 2 am

Price: From IDR 1,400,000 for general admission – VIP passes available from IDR 2,000,000

Sunset on Seminyak restaurant Anantara Seminyak

What: Spend your evening at Sunset on Seminyak indulging at the buffet dinner before dancing your heart out at the “Magical White Party” on the beach. There will be a live band, laser show, dance performances, DJ sets and lots of fireworks.

Who: Grown-up but still got it.

MoonLite Kitchen and Bar at Anantara Seminyak

What: MoonLite Kitchen and Bar will transform into 1930s Shanghai for a glamorous “golden era” themed New Year’s Eve party. There will be a live jazz band, lion and dragon dancers and gourmet dining on an open-air terrace overlooking the ocean as the clock strikes 2020.

Who: Those who love glamour and the way things used to be

Alila Seminyak

What: The party at Alila Seminyak is all about food, music and dancing under the stars. Dance to Bali-famous songstress Lydia Rose and DJ Sammy Sax who’ll get the party started. Eat your fill with street food style dishes, and countdown beachside with fireworks to start the new year with a bang.

Who: Those keeping it classy

When: 31st December – 1st January 2020, 9 pm onwards

OMNIA Dayclub Bali

What: At one of Bali’s most beautiful beach clubs (seriously, both the view over Uluwatu’s cliffs and the design of OMNIA are incredible), welcome the new year to the sounds of Australian DJ/Producer MaRLo and the best of OMNIA’s in-house team.

Who: The Insta and wannabe Insta-famous. Must be over 21 years old.

Where: OMNIA Dayclub Bali – Jl. Belimbing Sari, Banjar Tambiyak, Desa Pecatu, Uluwatu

When: 31st December – 1st January 2020, 11 am onwards
