Villa A-Mar is a tranquil getaway with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and an 18m pool. It sleeps up to 10 people.
Who it’s for
The Geek in the Pink. Or just about anyone who loves the colour pink, and/or who wants this to be a retreat from all the action in Canggu, which is just a short drive away.
Ngurah Rai International Airport is about 20km from Villa A-Mar. In typical Canggu traffic conditions, that translates to 35 minutes to an hour’s drive past the busy Kuta area. The villa is not a beachfront property, but is walking distance from the nearest Pantai Kayu Putih.
The best bits
How much can you do with pink interiors? Plenty, especially if you love the colour – there are more OOTD spots than you can count, for one. Without going into any gender stereotypes, we’ll say that Villa A-Mar is perfect for those who appreciate whimsical décor. #Extra comes in the form of flamingo-pink furniture, matching Frida Kahlo cushions (spot them below) and an eclectic mix of Balinese ornaments. Some of the ensuite bedrooms have bathtubs – you’ll never guess in what colour – while others have direct access to the pool lounge, which is lined with sunbeds.
Food & Drink
The services of a private chef are available upon request at an extra fee (grocery cost plus a 15% handling fee). We also won’t put it past you to want a Mad Hatter-approved tea party at the dining area.
Things to do nearby
You picked a hotspot for Instagram-worthy content. Canggu has many beaches – there’s Pantai Kayu Putih with its wooden bridge (pictured below) and bamboo tent structure, as well as Echo Beach, a surfer’s paradise. If you plan to go beach club-hopping, La Brisa and Finns Beach Club are all in the area, supplying you with great sunset vantage points.
