If you’re craving sashimi, read on! Japan Airlines is hosting a massive giveaway this February. You could be one of the 50,000 lucky winners to enjoy free domestic round-trip tickets. The catch: You don’t get to pick where you’re going. All tickets depart from either Tokyo or Osaka to four mystery destinations in Japan.

The tickets are good for travel between 1 July to 30 September and seek to promote lesser-visited parts of the country. And in case you didn’t know, the Tokyo Olympics run from 23 July to 9 August so keep a lookout for the start of the contest. This is a great opportunity to catch some of the Olympic events whilst experiencing a different angle of Japan’s rich cultural heritage.

Last May, women-focused dating app Bumble announced that they were looking for people to travel the world and make friends. Well, they found two gorgeous women, Juliana Broste and Brigette Muller, to be their Global Connector Bees or GCB for short.

The women kickstart their nine month journey in Singapore with the help of the Singapore Tourism Board to kick off the program on Friday, 17 January. That’s today if you weren’t paying attention! Juliana and Brigette will be traveling around the world making Bumble connections in every location using all three modes: @bumbledate@bumblebff, and @bumblebizz and documenting their journey every step of the way.

The whimsical artwork of pop icon/painter Britney Spears is set for her first-ever solo art exhibition in Galerie Sympa, France. The gallery announced the history-making exhibition on Instagram, not sharing too many details as it teased the show.

The floral painting shown in the Instagram post, sold for US $10,000 back in 2017 to Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous star and reporter Robin Leach. The proceeds were donated to the victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting, which had taken place a month prior.

#4 The most dramatic wedding backdrop, ever

A young couple said, “I do,” 10 miles away from Taal Volcano as it started to erupt. Braving the elements to go through with their outdoor wedding paid off however. The images captured were absolutely once-in-a-lifetime stunning yet terrifyingly breathtaking at the same time.

Now, before you start in the comments section, everyone kept up to tabs on volcanic updates. Warnings and escalating levels were being announced realtime and there was discussion on what to do should the worst happen.
