The new tallest hotel in the world is in Dubai, again

A new hotel has taken the title of tallest hotel in the world from Dubai’s JW Marriott Marquis. But don’t worry, it’s still in Dubai. The new Gevora Hotel in Dubai stands just three feet taller than JW Marriott Marquis at 1,168 feet and is now officially open for reservations. The stats: 75 floors, 528 rooms and a FitBit-loving 3,859 stairs, according to Inverse.

Look out for the all-gold lobby, and the rooftop bar that has now beaten the beloved Marina Bay Sands infinity pool to become the highest swimming pool in the world.

The hotel’s website is still under construction, but you can email in to make reservations, and currently rates start from a comparatively bargainous USD163 a night. (But heads up, boozehounds – it is a dry hotel.)
