Weekend hitlist: Flowers, French films and art

Cheers to the freaking weekend! We’ll drink to that.

Singapore – Flower frenzy

When: Until April 29 (Orchid Show) and May 13 (Tulipmania)

Where: Singapore Botanic Gardens and Gardens by the Bay

What: Make your weekend a flower-filled one. Start early at the Singapore Botanic Gardens to catch the last few days of the Singapore Garden Festival Orchid Show – it sounds dull, but the floral displays are incredible, as are the orchids on sale, and if you’re really inspired you can attend a talk. Then head over to Gardens by the Bay for Tulipmania for an explosion of tulips and the chance to win flights to Amsterdam.

Kuala Lumpur – Le French Festival

What: This is Le French Festival‘s last week in KL before heading over to Penang, so catch the Lysistrata gig, take in a cooking class with chef Nathalie Arbefeuille, or one of the many French films showing at GSC cinemas.

Sydney – Sydney Comedy Festival

Where: Tang Contemporary Art Hong Kong
