Location

Baan Bua Sawan is located on Bophut Bay on the Northern Coast of Samui. The villa is 50-metres away from a quiet stretch of white sand beach. 3.5 kilometres down the beach, you’ll find the main Bophut area and Fisherman’s Village.

What’s nearby

Fisherman’s Village, which is just a 5-minute trip by car, is one of the few remaining areas where you can experience Samui’s old-world charm. The village is also the island’s dining hub with over 40 restaurants – many of which are set up directly on the beach.

Maenam Beach is only 2.5-kilometres away, and the famous day and nightlife town of Chaweng is 10-kilometres away.

Food & drink

Between the surrounding areas of Fisherman’s Village and Chaweng, you’ll never be short on dining options. However, just because you’re on holiday doesn’t mean you have to eat out all the time. Breakfast is included, and the kitchen is fully stocked with modern appliances.

If neither cooking nor going out appeals to you, there is an in-house chef available on request for THB 2,500++ per day or THB 1,500++ per meal. The chef is experienced in Western, Asian, Chinese and Vegetarian cuisines and is more than happy to create special children’s dishes or accommodate your dietary needs.

The best bits

We love the stylish feel and the indoor/outdoor accessibility of Baan Bua Sawan’s living spaces with its floor to ceiling glass windows. The sea views too are a thing of beauty, and you’ll love being able to watch the local fishermen passing by in their boats each morning.

Plus, the elevated poolside lounge area offers cool breezes and a gorgeous backdrop for pool parties or just lazing about in one of the sun loungers.

The beautiful bathrooms don’t hurt either! Who doesn’t love a sunken tub?
