Travel photographer Carmen Huter’s Instagram is an endless feed of inspiration, one stunning, evocative photo after another. Huter is currently based in New Zealand, and we fell in love with her photos of her new home. “While the well-trotted Instagram trail does not disappoint, after having lived in New Zealand for the last few years, I am still surprised by how many hidden gems there are,” she tells us. Her advice? “Leave a few days blank on your itinerary and hit the backcountry huts around Mount Aspiring National Park, the South Island’s West Coast, Te Urewera National Park and other quiet stunners.”
