Before she cropped it all off, Katy Perry snipped her long locks into this funky pixie which keeps the top long for versatility whilst the short shadow root sides keeps her look modern and chic. Hairstylist to the stars Chris McMillan was responsible for this new style and we love it!
#2 The New Lob
This new iteration of the Lob (long bob) goes to chin or shoulder-grazing lengths, which gives you enough to work with for a ponytail, yet is short enough for beach waves that just won’t weigh heavily. We are fans of Olivia Culpo’s fresh and natural tousle.
#3 The Pixie-Bob
While she has sported some more androgynous styles in the past, Ruby Rose is recently growing out her long pixie into a bob, hence the layered pixie-bob. It’s fun and feminine enough, yet can be swept up into a pompadour or faux hawk for that extra edge (just add wax).
#4 The Platinum Buzz Cut
This is not for the faint of heart. Zoe Kravitz’s close crop came out of necessity (she chopped off her damaged blonde braids) and decided to go all out. Worried you can’t carry it off? Never fear, the softer your face is, the bolder you can go. Besides, it’s only hair and it will grow.

Can supermodel Jourdan Dunn look any sexier? Actually, the answer is a resounding YES. This textured caramel pixie makes her fine features pop even more, while emphasising her gorgeous colouring. All you need to do to pull this short hair trend off is to balance the length with feminine clothes.

If you’re really looking for a change that will stun those around you, this is the way to go. Forget short hair, how about no hair? Like Natalie Portman and Demi Moore before her, Cara Delevingne shows, a shaved head looks pretty darn sexy. Just don’t forget the sunblock!
