The basics

You’ve not had a proper home away from until you’ve stayed at Villa Natha in Samui. It’s a 5-bedroom multi-storey hillside villa that overlooks the island’s eastern coast, and has an infinity pool that will keep your #vacation posts on Instagram fuelled for a few weeks (looking at you, social media-goers).

Luxe nomads who know how to switch off and enjoy every second of a holiday will love Villa Natha. It helps that it is furnished to keep even the most restless traveller occupied (more on this later). The villa is also suitable for families with young children.

Location

Villa Natha is located in the exclusive Narayan Heights estate up on a hill in Choeng Mon, no more than 10 minutes from Samui Airport in regular traffic. The famous beach club and restaurant strip off Chaweng Beach is only 10 minutes away, and there are also other attractions like Fisherman’s Village and Samui Elephant Sanctuary in Bophut, as well as Art Samui Museum and various other beaches in the northern side of Choeng Mon – these are all under 20 minutes away by car from the villa.

The best bits

From the hillside location, guests get stunning panoramic views of the coast – we highly recommend the 15m infinity pool as a vantage point. Plus, there’s a shallow end for kids, so no one gets left out. The interiors were thoughtfully designed and furnished so that even if you’re used to luxury living, Villa Natha will serve as a refreshing space for you to unwind.

Bedrooms have modern fittings and ensuite bathrooms, one of which comes with a semi-outdoor rainshower that will be a delight to indulge in at the end of the day. The living space and dining area have sliding doors that, when fully opened, lets you drift in and out of the patio with ease.

What will also leave you impressed is how every area in the villa lets in lots of natural light, so it feels airy and peaceful. The beautiful lawn that reaches from near the pool deck to the pathway leading to the bedrooms adds a Garden of Eden-like disposition to the property.

In terms of keeping everyone occupied, Villa Natha is a gem. One of the bedrooms is attached to a fully equipped gym, and there’s a private cinema decked with plush seats, a large projector screen and surround sound system. And let’s be honest, in good weather, the pool is where you’re going to be most of the time. If cabin fever does sink in, there’s always you taking a trip out to town, since Villa Natha is still very close to many of Samui’s interesting spots, including those we mentioned earlier. Your villa manager can recommend things to do or places to eat, if you’re stumped.
