Five luxury updates for your swimwear wardrobe

Lelloue

If you’re hopping from boat to beach to bar, this is the label for you. Lelloue’s newest collection of swimwear, cover-ups and kaftans has been crafted from a variety of non-traditional swimwear fabrics, including digitally printed silk, silk chiffon and textured lace. Choose from five very individual themes across the collection to suit your style and personality: Black & Gold, Sailor Girl, Love Lace, Rose Rock and Leopard.

Flagpole

The brains behind this NYC label are avid beachgoers, so it’s no wonder their one-pieces are designed with both fit and fashion in mind. Their swimwear has major athletic overtones, with a focus on colour-blocking, sporty cut-outs and strategic panelling and seaming. The fabrics are Italian, but the swimsuits are produced in New York and the styles scream California.

Emilio Pucci

Exclusive to the Middle East this season is Emilio Pucci’s very own crafted cossie collection. The capsule features eight unique items in Pucci prints: oriental-inspired flourishes and arabesques combined with Pucci’s iconic Mediterranean mosaics and graphics.

This special edition is currently available at Emilio Pucci, The Dubai Mall.

Mara Hoffman

Mara Hoffman’s way with prints and colours translates spectacularly to swimwear. Her resort wear is some of the most sought after, and this season the colours are bold: marigold, violet and ocean blue feature. Wear just one or all of them together, and top with a floaty, flowy organic cotton maxi.

On The Island By MARIOS Schwab

No one does traditional sex appeal quite like Marios Schwab and his beachwear line, inspired by famous femme fatales, is no exception. Animal print, plunging necklines, cheeky cut-outs, they’re all here. This black one-piece, with its sexy cut-out and unusual hardware, needs no further accessories – just a great tan.
