Luxe eats review: Sisterfields in Bali

The concept

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Australians do brunch better than anyone. And at Sisterfields, the Aussies have gone above and beyond.

The vibe

The vibe of this place is relaxed and friendly. It’s very casual, with everyone having a good time. People know Sisterfields has good food, so they come with that expectation and are not disappointed.

Since people know about Sisterfields’ reputation, expect the place to be jam-packed, especially during peak hours!

For who

You can bring your whole family here, and no one would complain. This place has good ole comfort food that everyone will love. From fries to pancakes to toasts, mom, dad, and even the baby will find something to go back for.

The best time to go

It’s all about breakfast and brunch. We went during lunch hours and it was packed. Sure, the wait isn’t long to get a table, but it was still very full. We’d prefer to go earlier in the morning when there aren’t as many people, but don’t let that dissuade you from the food that’s worth waiting for!

The best thing to order

The toasts! I got an avocado one (yes, very millennial and basic) but oh my it was sooo good. The meat lover who joined me was partial to the bacon toast. If we had had enough space in our stomachs for the pancakes we ordered, I’m sure we would have devoured the plate.

You should definitely give their cakes a try too!

Most Instagrammable spot

If you get the choice to choose where to sit, try and ask for a table by the wall of green plants. (It makes for a nice background!)

Believe it or not, their marble-like tables and their menus also make for great photos—especially when you put your food down and arrange everything in a stylized flat lay.

And just so you know, they also share the same bathrooms as Bikini. So if you weren’t able to get a good selfie in Bikini, now’s your chance!

What else you should know

So you might be worried that with all the people who eat there that their service might be slow, but let me tell you that you don’t have to worry about that. They’ve got more than enough servers to take care of everyone, and a surprisingly fast kitchen crew who make it their mission to serve you before you expect to be served.

Sisterfields also has fresh pastries and cakes that they make daily, we would highly recommend you give them a shot!
