Villa of the Week: Villa Neung

Want to holiday on the set of The White Lotus? Here’s your chance.

Koh Samui has long been a sought-after beach destination and news of The White Lotus filming their third season there (and in Phuket) has driven interest through the roof.

Lucky for you Luxe Nomads, our selection of places to stay is growing by the day. The latest to join? Villa Neung in Bang Por, a beachfront villa close to the filming locations.

Located on the northwest shore of the island, this lovely three-bedroom villa is nestled amongst rustling palms and fragrant Frangipani trees. This stylish, modern property offers privacy without sacrificing accessibility—perfect for exploring Koh Samui in style.

Here are the highlights:

THE LOCATION: A SERENE COVE

Set on the golden sands of Leam Noi Beach, the villa is on a hidden bay with tempting views across the glistening waters and islands including Koh Phangan. It’s a short drive to the neighbouring beach of Bang Por, a charming spot with Thai seafood eateries alongside chic Western restaurants and coffee shops.

THE DESIGN: TROPICAL GLAM

The single-floor property has three pavilions comfortably accommodating up to 6 adults and 1 child within its three bedrooms, all of which have king-size beds and ensuite bathrooms. At the heart of Villa Neung is the spacious open-plan and open-air living area, where the kitchen, dining room and lounge form one integrated space for entertaining and relaxing.

THE AMENITIES: TROPICAL BLISS

Once you arrive, you’d want to head over to one of the 8 sun-loungers around the 14m salt-water infinity pool (with a shallow area perfect for kids) or jump straight in and swim over to the in-pool seating area. Come magic hour, park yourself in the extra-comfy sunbeds at the Sala/Gazebo in the garden area—the best vantage point to take in the sunset.

THE SERVICE: AT YOUR DISPOSAL

Whether you’re craving traditional Thai or Western cuisine or want to do a lavish BBQ, all you have to do is ask! The dedicated staff will also organise masseuses, yoga and Muay Thai teachers, boat trips or transportation to the nearby Four Seasons Resort where they filmed the third season of The White Lotus. Top tip? Try out the resort’s CoCoRum, a poolside lounge home to Asia’s only rum vault.
