The basics

Welcome to Villa Mullion Cove, a Samui villa named after a quiet harbour near the village of Mullion in Cornwall, England. The villa has 4 bedrooms, a pool with a shallow end, and views for days.

Who it’s for

Families and friends looking for a stay that’s close to a good number of Samui attractions while still enjoying lots of privacy will love Mullion Cove’s location: it’s on top of a hill in Bophut, away from the crowd. Which brings us to our next point.

Location

Bophut is an exciting Samui neighbourhood to be in if you love beaches, shopping at lively night markets, and bars – more on this later. The main area of Bophut is around 10 minutes from the villa by car, while the airport is just 20 minutes away. (Complimentary round-trip airport transfers for all guests are included in the rates!) A car and driver is at your disposal if you need a convenient way to get around (subject to petrol and a service charge).

The best bits

At a glance, Mullion Cove reminds us a little of a modern Italian villa in the countryside. The interiors are elegant, with lots of white and cream accents to keep the space looking big and open. The four bedrooms are all air-conditioned and have their own ensuite bathrooms with bathtubs.

A spacious living area opens up to the pool area, where you’ll find sunchairs and a small lawn from which to enjoy the view.

The villa also welcomes families staying with small children; babysitting services are available with advance booking at a fee, in case of date nights or any excursions that won’t suit toddlers. Moreover, an extra bed for a young child can be requested at a fee, and a baby cot can be provided free of charge (subject to availability). Parents will also be pleased to know that the aforementioned swimming pool has a shallow end!

Food & drink

Daily breakfast is complimentary for all guests at the villa, and this can be enjoyed at the island bar in the kitchen or dining table. Should you prefer to have all your meals prepared during your stay, private chef services can be requested at a fee, plus grocery cost and taxes.

Our luxe tip? Take advantage of pleasant weather during your stay and have dinner outside by the pool. The ambience is lovely.
