Only in Bali will you find a villa of this glossy calibre with an achievable price tag. Set in Seminyak, Bali’s vibrant heart, Villa Casa Evaliza is an intimate space carved out of luxury and comfort. The villa is owned by a couple as their own personal holiday home, lending a homely vibe with touches like books and art pieces for more than just an aesthetic appeal. The love of contemporary Balinese design also flows throughout, encompassing modern white decor and more traditional wooden carved furniture.
Villa Casa Evaliza comprises of two buildings that make up a four-bedroom residence including a bunk room for kids. The first is a single story pavilion where we spent most of our time in the living and dining area. The second, is where a master suite takes up the entire bottom floor (calls dibs!).
A focal point of the villa is the pool fringed by trees. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors conjure up these views from either side of the villa, and by night, it practically glows in the reflecting moonlight. Although the villa was within an easy walking distance from Seminyak’s ‘Eat Street’, we loved the homecooked meals by a team of fantastic staff who were all so warm and genuine.
A stay at Villa Casa Evaliza comes with a complimentary car and driver, BBQ facilities, an iPod dock and a media room. Complimentary refreshments, fruits and snacks are also presented upon arrival, and in-villa spa treatments can be arranged. A Nomad could really get used to this extravagance.
