Model, influencer, and young entrepreneur — Filipino-Turkish Lorin Bektas wears many hats to say the least. The rising star is always on the go, but she recently took a break to visit the ever-popular Bali.

What did you love most about your trip with The Luxe Nomad?
I love everything about The Luxe Nomad’s villas but if I had to pick one thing that really stood out to me it would be the staff. The crew was incredibly welcoming and hospitable! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home. I loved their willingness to go above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect and truly exceptional.
What stood out for you at Villa Nedine?
I was particularly impressed by the master bedroom’s blend of modern and rustic elements as well as the paintings in the living room — they were definitely a standout feature. The terrace also had a breathtaking view! Lastly, I loved the beautiful outdoor bathrooms that added a touch of luxury and tranquillity to my stay.

Can you share a personal recommendation on how to best enjoy Bali?
Immerse yourself in the Balinese culture. My sister and I attended a traditional Balinese ceremony at Villa Nedine, learned more about Balinese Hinduism taught by the amazing villa staff, and had the opportunity to try on their beautiful clothing pieces. I definitely gained a deeper appreciation for this beautiful island during my stay.
Lastly, tell us one must-do when you stay at Villa Nedine.
Walk around the local area! There are so many lovely shops and restaurants within walking distance of the villa.
