5 Minutes with Chriselle Lim: Six Senses Laamu

We love Chriselle Lim, and we love the Maldives. Put the two together (in just five minutes), and you get the fashion guru’s top tips on how to have a really good stay at Six Senses Laamu. Earlier we showed you all her best style moments in Maldives but this time, Chriselle talks food, dancing and hitting the snooze button.

Don’t leave without trying…

It’s pronounced fuh.

The Pho at The Leaf the Six Senses Resort & Spa. I’ve never tasted such fresh pho in my life. My mouth waters just thinking about it!

Fancy a drink?

Drinks by the sea, anyone?

Make sure you head to the Chill Bar! It’s a bar that is built over the water on several levels. There’s a DJ there as well if you want to get your boogie on!

What I loved doing:

All bicycles come with a carved wooden plate with guests’ initials.

Biking around the island. It was the most memorable part of the trip, being able to bike through the Indian ocean. Although at times I was scared I would fall right in!

Worth getting out of bed for?

Worth the early alarm for a sunrise here too.

The breakfast buffet was something I looked forward to every morning. Especially the fresh fruit juice they would prepare for you.

Worth staying in for?

Definitely.

Room service on our patio overlooking the ocean. Waking up to this every morning was a dream.

Dreaming of a Maldivian getaway? Let’s make it come true.
