The basics
First things first: L2 is a showstopper. The 3-bedroom residence is perched on a vertiginous cliff, overlooking the Gulf of Siam with incredible views afforded from nearly every angle.
Who it’s for
Grownups, for sure. Grownups who have a taste for directional architecture and an appreciation for great interiors. Perfect for a couples’ getaway.
Location
To get to L2, you have to first traverse an extremely steep road (hang onto your seat, you’re in for a ride). The residence is part of an exclusive compound in Laem Set, a quiet neighbourhood in the southwest of the island. What that means: peace and quiet at all hours of the day, the nearby Kamalaya beach and optimum privacy, all the time.
The best bits
L2 is a feat of architectural genius, spread over the cliff face. Our favourite feature is the floating yoga deck, the perfect spot to begin your mornings or to watch the sun set in the evening.
Food & drink
For real, once you get to L2 you might not want to leave, so book the in-villa chef and savour the luxury of having dinner in your pyjamas. Plus, there’s a BBQ onsite, and what’s better than a barbeque party?
