Dream a little. Travel a lot.
That’s our philosophy at The Luxe Nomad. We’re full-time nomads with passport in one hand and laptop in the other, traversing the globe to find the best hideaways, eateries and local scenes, and we want to share it all with you.
We’ve got all the inspiration and information you need to make every holiday your best one ever. Travel trends, insider tips, city guides and expert interviews from luxe nomads all over the world – you’ll find them here.
Welcome to WanderLuxe, we hope you leave inspired.
When she’s not travelling the world, riding horses, trying to master yoga, or eating everything in sight, Alia is a grammar nazi extraordinaire. She also has an unhealthy obsession with Tom Hiddleston, Game of Thrones, 30 Seconds to Mars and French cooking. Did we mention chocolate too?
Our resident Wander Woman with a passion for languages, big cities and bronzer. When she’s not listening to The Smiths a little too loudly at the office (after hours!), she can be found singing along to the soundtrack of Les Miserables with her two cats for an audience.
This wifemama-of-one (one husband, one child), hung up her corporate high flyer cape for a more ‘relaxed’ existence. A kitchen-tyrant/foodie, she also loves writing, reading fiction and takes her baby daughter’s education in all things Queen Bey and Radiohead very seriously.
Leaving the medical field, Shar discovered her true passion of collecting passport stamps and photography in her little project called #AdvenShar. When not travelling, she is either busy binge-watching the latest murder-mystery series or hoarding chocolate peanut butter cups at the grocery.
Emma is a new mum, compulsive shopper and cityslicker through and through. Perfect holiday: shops, sunshine and gelato (and maybe a babysitter).
The token expat of the WanderLuxe crew, Shannon is a true Southern California girl at heart with an insatiable love for bikinis, craft beer, and Mexican food. While she’s typically on the hunt for sun and sand, she’s also a snowboard powder hound and an aspiring ice cream sandwich connoisseur.
Adding a little Yang to the Wanderluxe Yin, this nomad can often be found riding his 1978 Vespa through the streets of the Big Durian. A lover of Javanese vintage, running, strange tropical flowers and brutalist architecture, he hates papayas, but is working on it.
Ryan Ong has been a writer for 12 years, and formerly contributed to magazines such as Men’s Health, Esquire, and Her World. Some of them may even have forgiven him. Ryan is a frequent traveller, as every country he visits seems quick to suggest he visit another one.
Manila-born journalist Liz Bautista is a self-confessed breakfast-skipper and francophile, who likes to spend her time exploring new places and cultures, watching foreign films and improving her French.
This tiny nomad packs a punch, especially when it comes to weekend getaways, high fashion and hunting down the best local eats and coffee spots. She also loves cats. With a vengeance.
